Health Polytechnic of Bengkulu (Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu) was established on April 16th, 2001 and ready to be an excellent health college that creating professional health workers and goes to global in 2025. Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu is “B” accredited by LAM PT-Kes and currently organizes six departments and fourteen Study Programs, consisting of department of Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition, Health Sanitation, Medical Laboratory, and Health Promotion.
The vision of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu for 2020-2024 is :
''To be an Excellent Health College in Creating Professional Health Workers and Goes to Global in 2024"
To actualize the vision that has been drawn up, Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu has prepared several missions as follows:

- Performing student services that develop scientific attitudes, stimulating student creativity and innovation.
- Performing quality education, research and community service that are relevant to national and global challenges
- Preparing modern infrastructure and competent human resources
- Developing cooperation that supports the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma) and business development in regional, national and international level
Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu is known as one of the excellent state health college in Bengkulu province. The main campus is addressed at jalan Indragiri No.03 Padang Harapan, Kota Bengkulu, meanwhile campus B is addressed at Jalan Sapta Marga No.95 Teladan village Rejang Lebong regency.
The alumni of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu have spread and worked across various institutions locally and abroad that spread in Japan (63 alumni), Taiwan (20 alumni), Saudi Arabia (2 alumni) and Germany (1 alumni).
Furthermore, Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu has facilities and infrastructure that support the campus activities such as Guest House Training Center, library, integrated laboratory in midwifery, nursing, nutrition, medical laboratory technology, pharmacy, environmental health, health promotion, language and multimedia laboratories, computer laboratories, and has collaborative practice areas.
